Mathura Pratishthan — Our founding story

Born on 26 November 1923, Late Smt. Mathurabai lost her father in childhood. She was married young and became a widow at just nine years of age. She studied up to the 4th standard, worked as a teacher, and retired as headmistress in 1989.

From her pension and savings she built the Vitthal-Rukmini temple at Vyasnagar, Naldurg. That same spirit gave rise to Mathura Pratishthan — a trust for social and educational work.

Antarang — support to live well

A second home for elders — with love, dignity, and independence

"

The satisfaction is that after coming here, they no longer miss their old home. Many visitors have shared their experiences. Retired senior citizens can live here on their own terms and spend their remaining years happily as they wish.

Nurturing elders' interests

Everyone has habits and hobbies — reading, writing, speaking, group games, indoor games, exercise. All of this is made available here. If they wish to do something different, that too is arranged.

  • ✦ Living assistance
  • ✦ Safe environment
  • ✦ Skilled nursing
02

Best care for senior citizens

Mathura Pratishthan was founded with a clear vision. Without self-interest, residents can stay as long as they wish and follow daily routines of their choice. Religion, caste, and community are respected. Only 20 persons — men or women — can register here.

  • ✦ Living assistance
  • ✦ Safe environment
  • ✦ Skilled nursing
03

Exchange of ideas

An environment is created where elders can share experience, thoughts, and knowledge. Special programs encourage dialogue across generations.

Welcome!

Centre for creative classical early education

A child is a living, independent person with the right to live and think freely. Investing in early childhood education is long-term savings — far better than saving money for the child alone.

We seek a good doctor for the sick, a good lawyer for complaints, a good shop for clothes. Why not seek a good place (school) for our sons and daughters?

Our educational philosophy

1
What does it mean for a child to learn?

Brain research shows 80–90% of information reaches the brain through the eyes. A child is a crore-party — they can be guided toward what they need with care.

2
Joy in learning

Children naturally want to keep learning new things. At a young age their urge to learn is immense. The joy of learning keeps them from sitting still.

3
Contribution to physical development

Through play and exercise — sweat, freedom from worry, openness, doing things oneself — self-reliance grows and dependence fades, building confidence.

✅ Available facilities

Classrooms are large (75×98 ft), with admission for only 30 children at a time. Separate clean toilets for boys and girls. Pure drinking water. Study, teaching, materials, games, sports equipment, library, abundant reading material, first-aid kit, well-equipped building, e-learning, and ramp access.
